Choice Removal

Cards in this category can remove creatures from the battle zone based on your opponent's choice.

They are informally known in R&D slang as an Edict, named after the MTG series of spells allowing your opponent to choose with of their creatures to sacrifice.

As these cards do not use the word target, they can be used against Untargetable cards such as Keeper of Laws or cards that have negative drawbacks for targeting them, Infernus the Immolator.
